We can’t expect Speech Language Pathologists to support children learning Inuktut, without speaking out against systems that are continuing to cause language loss of this endangered language.
Hearing Screenings are completed with HearX Hearscreen and HearX Hearscope.
The Disability tax credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit that helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. S-LPs are medical practitioners who may be asked to complete the DTC forms for patients or clients with “speaking impairments”. For more information, please see the CRA website.
